Summer is the right time for hot announcements. The Apple company pleased their admirers with a new version of iPhone. The competitors also keep pace. Thus, from June to September 2008 the Nokia company are planning to release a few business-class smartphones as well as a new “multimedia-palmtop” Nokia N96.
Anssi Vanjoki, Executive Vice President of Nokia's Markets division, confirmed the information but didn’t specify the models. The matter presumably concerns a long-expected E71 candy bar featuring a QWERTY-keypad and a landscape-oriented screen and an E66 slider. Both the gadgets are equipped with Wi-Fi, GPS-receiver and a 3.2 Mp camera unit.
The beginning of Nokia N96 sales announced in February is also expected. The recommended retail price will be about $870.
