A fullscale advertising campaign promoting the Sonim XP1 handset started in Europe. The device is positioned as the world's hardest-to-kill cell phone.

Everyone was offered a chance to try their best at damaging the handset, for instance by drowning it in beer or running over by a car. Fortunately, no one succeeded. That's not surprising though: the manufacturer grants a three years' unconditional warranty for the product.
