Vertu Constellation - an elite handset announced by the Vertu company.
SMAPE  News  Vertu Constellation - an elite handset announced by the Vertu company.

An elite handset by the Vertu company has been just announced. It belongs to the Constellation product family and is classified by the manufacturer as a 'Mixed Metal edition'.

The constellation series comprising a quantity of hi-end products was started last autumn. The base for this series were the six initial models, later a  number of modifications based off those six were introduced to expand the portfolio. The base functionality of all the models from this line is virtually on the same level, the main differencess lying exclusively in design.

The Vertu Constellation phone utilizes the candy bar form factor. It is supplied with a screen supporting a 208x208 resolution, 262K colors. The sapphire glass provides high durability and resistance to scratching. The Mixed MEtal edition is fabricated from stainless steel, and some minor details are made from 18K gold - for instance, the navigation button, the side buttons and all the screws. The keypad is mounted on a ceramic base. Just like the rest of Constellation handsets, this one has its back panel all wrapped in leather, black in this case. The estimated price isn't yet officially announced.
