The Korean company Pantech&Curitel announced the sales of the original IM-S300 phone. The most interesting aspect of this product is its design. It is a very unusual type of a slider remarkable for the shape of its control buttons. The device's ad slogan is Stylish, Slim, Slider. The device has a 2,2'' screen with a resolution of 320x240. The multimedia functionality of the novelty are hardly as remarkable as its exterior looks: a 1,3 Mp camera, a regular media player, a voice recorder. The default firmware also includes a calendar application. By now, the phone is availbale in Korean stores of the Sky carrier company sold at $297. Should it become successful enough over the next few weeks, it will be shipped to Europe as well.
