The Japanese Kyocera company announced a new entry-level phone dubbed Adreno S2400 sporting a simple clamshell design. Besides, the new product is intended for those who need only the basic functionality of making voice calls.
The apparently limited functionality of the new gadget doesn’t look like anything special. Quite on the contrary, the manufacturers often forget about the consumers' primary need of a stable network connection. However, Adreno S2400 isn’t as primitive as it may seem. The new gadget is equipped with a Bluetooth 1.2 controller and advanced voice-controlled dialing. Naturally enough, text and multimedia messaging is supported as well as a basic PIM functionality. The rest of the features are: a speakerphone, a WAP browser, voice recording capability, vibromode and a phone book storing up to 500 contact records.
