The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) site published the pictures and specifications of Philips Xenium X800, the existence of which has been questioned till recently.

They confirmed all the rumours that the Philips designers managed to combine the keypadless iPhone-like touchscreen concept with the low power consumption of a Xenium series handset. They firmly rejected the assumption that Philips would sacrifice battery lifetime for the sake of 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS or something like that; the company remained true to themselves and designed a simple and economical gadget.
Philips Xenium X800 expected specs:
- GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks (900/1800/1900 Mhz)
- 2.9” TFT-screen with a resolution of 400х240 pixels and a palette of 262К colors
- 2M autofocusing camera
- MicroSD memory card slot
- Bluetooth 2.0 protocol version
- Up to 8 hours of talktime
- Up to 850 hours of standby
