Engadgetmobile.com published the live photos of a new BlackBerry smartphone codenamed Javelin. The info about this handset had already appeared on the web, though it used to be rather contradictory. The Javelin smartphone is a sequel to BlackBerry Bold and will be released in mid May 2009.
According to the source, Javelin is designed to work only in GSM/EDGE networks - 3G support isn’t provided for. The gadget is equipped with a screen larger than with the predecessor, a 3.2 Mp camera, an onboard GPS-receiver and a Wi-Fi wireless data transfer unit.
