Sony Ericsson announced the release of a special version of the G700 handset differing from the original one in the camera unit availability. Such peculiarity will allow the model to become a corporate phone in those companies where the use of camera phones is disapproved.

Almost all the modern handsets are equipped with a camera and it’s next to impossible to pick out a model lacking it, but enjoying good overall functionality. G700 comes in a new coloring dubbed Mineral Gray. It’s worth mentioning that in spite of the gadget being positioned as a business solution, the developers have failed to supply it with Wi-Fi support.
The rest of the specs didn’t undergo any changes:
- Networks: GSM 900/1800/1900, UMTS 2100
- Screen: TFT, 262K colors, 320×240 pixels
- Storage: 160 Mb, Memory Stick Micro™ (M2™) card support
