Samsung J800 Luxe
Samsung J800 Luxe – the codename deceives since there is nothing luxurious about the gadget. Samsung J800 Luxe is a mid-end slider that is 15 mm thick and equipped with a 2.2” 176x220 screen powered by the TFT technology.

The handset features a 2Mp camera without autofocusing but capable to upload images directly to your blog. Among the multimedia functions there are a music/video player, FM radio with RDS and stereo Bluetooth (A2DP). The 18Mb onboard memory can be expanded using microSD cards. J800 is supplied with a POP3/IMAP4 e-mail client, HTML browser, RSS reader and text file tools. The gadget is designed to work across three GSM bands and supports HSDPA 2100.
Samsung L700
Samsung L700 is a comparably thin candy bar (12.8mm) operating across four GSM bands and supporting NSDPA. The handset sports a 2.1” TFT screen with a resolution of 128x160 pixels and a 2Mp camera without autofocusing.

Among the multimedia functions there are a music/video player, FM radio with RDS and stereo Bluetooth (A2DP). The 30Mb onboard memory can be expanded using microSD cards. L700 is supplied with a POP3/IMAP4 e-mail client, HTML browser and text file tools. The handset comes in silver, pink, and gold colors. There is no information about the pricing and the beginning of sales.
Samsung L870
L870 was announced on May 28. In spite of its exterior looking much similar to that of the Soul series, the gadget doesn’t belong to this line. Samsung L870 is designed based on the Symbian OS and has a user interface as well as all Nokia N-series PDA-phones. Being 13.5 mm thick, the smartphone is equipped with a 3Mp autofocusing camera and a 2.4” TFT screen delivering QVGA resolution (320 x 240 pixels) and displaying 16M colors.

L870 is a tri-band (GSM/GPRS/EDGE) handset supporting HSDPA. As for the wireless connectivity, let’s note just the lack of Wi-Fi. The smartphone has an onboard FM radio, Bluetooth, USB port. The 100Mb embedded memory can be expanded using microSD cards with the capacity up to 4 Gb. Samsung L870 will hit the European shelves in August; the price remains unknown though.
