It is rumored that Sony Ericsson plan a budget phone for release to the market, which may help the company against the background of a drop in premium-class sales. But the most intriguing is that the handset is positioned as a sequel to the much favored T610 model.

Judging by photos the device resembles W890 and is implemented using aluminum; the thickness is about 10 mm. It is also reported that the phone operates in the 3G bands and supports HSDPA. The new gadget is equipped with a 3.2 Mp camera. Sony Ericsson won’t keep you waiting for the announcement for a long time.
