The mobile gadget is implemented in the candy bar form factor and equipped with a QWERTY keypad. The smartphone runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. At the heart of the handset is a 528 MHz CPU. Samsung i788 supports operation in 3G networks and the HSDPA high-speed data transfer technology. Besides, there are an integrated 3Mp camera, a 320x320 touchscreen as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth units, microSD card slot and A-GPS support.

Samsung i788 is going to retail in Korea for $600.

The smartphone is expected to appear in other countries in October.
