The Spice X-1 mobile phone is implemented in the candy bar form factor. The gadget supports GSM networks and utilizes a 2.4” screen with a resolution of 320x240 pixels. It is equipped with a sound amplifier by Yamaha.

A special control unit comes bundled with the handset so that to provide the most comfort while playing games. The user can choose whether to control the process of gaming through the keypad on the handset or via the joystick.
