At present one of the largest electronic retailers, the Best Buy company have gained the right of selling the iPhone in their stores. The iPhone is expected to hit the Best Buy shelves on September 7, 2008.

The smartphone is going to appear in 970 supermarkets and 16 stores of the company.  Together with starting to retail the iPhone, Best Buy Mobile plan to carry out a rebranding exercise.

Besides the right to distribute the iPhone, the retailer has got the right to sell the Apple’s Mac computers and iPod media players.
